Dental implant is based on lower structure of the implanted bone, to support and fixed the upper teeth.
It is include two parts: lower part implant and upper part teeth fixing.
It use artificial material (mental, ceramics) to make the implant, use operate to put into the tissue (usually the upper and lower jaw) to get support from the bone tissue, the dental restoration supporting the upper part is connected through special devices and methods.
Dental implant can obtain the restoration effect which is very similar to the function, structure and aesthetic effect of natural teeth, it has become the first choice for more and more patients with missing teeth.
Dental implant usually need two-stage operation, one is make an incision on the missing teeth after local anesthesia and disinfection, use the ball drill to positioning and drilling on the alveolar bone, put the implant, make the implant combine with the bone and good synostosis.
This operation is to put the implant and covering screw in the alveolar bone, close the soft tissue wound tightly, and the implant healing takes 4-6 months.
The second stage operation is to replace the screw cap with a healing abutment at the implant site. The healing abutment is exposed in the mouth and takes about one month.
