Denture technology has been around for a long time. I believe everyone knows it. Now the emergence of dental implant technology has gradually replaced dental implant technology. What are the differences between dental implant and dental implant? Let's listen to the doctor's answer.

1、 What is dental implant?

Dental implant technology refers to the precise design of pure titanium metal with high compatibility with human bone into a cylinder or other shape similar to the root, which is implanted into the alveolar bone in the missing tooth area by means of minor surgery. After 1 ~ 3 months, when the artificial root is close to the alveolar bone, the porcelain crown is made on the artificial root. Because of its non destructiveness, implant teeth have been recognized as an alternative repair method for missing teeth in the field of Stomatology, known as & ldquo; The third human tooth .

2、 What is denture?

Denture is a suitable and ideal denture determined according to the general situation and the specific conditions of the oral cavity. It can not only chew food, but also restore beauty, but also protect the health of other oral tissues. Dentures are divided into fixed dentures and removable partial dentures, which are often called dead teeth and live teeth.

3、 What is the difference between implant and implant?

Inlay is a kind of denture, which is installed by adsorption or external fixation. There are fixed and active. The fixed denture is supported by metal braces and autologous teeth on both sides. There are active adsorption types, such as complete teeth, which are fixed by the adsorption of oral mucosa, and some use steel wire as a fixed bridge.

The implant is implanted in the alveolar bone with titanium alloy screws with good histocompatibility, and then the denture is installed on it. Compared with the traditional dental implant technology, implant teeth have the advantages of firmness and durability, wide implant range and no damage to adjacent teeth. In terms of economy, implant teeth are much more expensive, mainly titanium alloy. Both denture and implant have nothing to do with dental nerve.

The differences between implant and implant are as follows:

(1) The masticatory efficiency of implant teeth is much higher than that of traditional dentures, which is similar to real teeth without foreign body feeling;

(2) There is no root support for the embedded teeth, while the implant is to implant the artificial root (implant) into the alveolar bone in the missing tooth area by surgical method. After 3 ~ 6 months, after the root grows, it will be installed with a substance similar to the real tooth

(3) Long service life. If the teeth are properly protected after implantation, the implanted teeth can be used for a long time.

(4) Without hurting adjacent teeth, implant teeth are better than inlaid teeth. Even if there is a problem, it is only a problem of one tooth and will not affect adjacent healthy teeth.
